Twelve hours in a car is NOT enjoyable!
I used to be a big fan of road trips.
I'm not exactly sure what happened between high school and now to change my mind. Perhaps one too many JetBlue flights, or airline flights in general, has kept me from enjoying the basic joys of traveling in cars.
Or maybe it has to do with the fact that my long-should-be-a-dancer-but-I'm-not legs hate being bent for longer than an hour in the car. Needless to say, while I enjoyed Lisa's company immensely, and I am THRILLED to be back in Florida...I did not enjoy the twelve hour journey via Subaru.
Bowling Green, KY was fun. I brought some happiness to the world a la Amy Grant in Three Wishes. But, I didn't change anyone's life and I certainly didn't throw a carnival where I perform my greatest hits.
Wouldn't that have been fun?
Anywho, I'm back in Florida looking for an apartment for two months before the summer gig. So, if anyone knows where to get apartments without signing a year lease, let me know! Thanks to my best friend Steve for giving me and Lisa a place to crash!
