Ive been so busy, I havent had much time to blog! Yesterday I ate pretty much normal, except we went to Cheesecake Factory for girl's night. I had the Margherita Flatbread (Mozzarella, Tomato, Basil and Grilled Chicken) off their skinnylicious menu. I had probably a half of those bread rolls they bring out, and then shared a slice of Adam's Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple (Creamy Cheesecake Swirled with Caramel, Peanut Butter, Butterfingers and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups). It was extremely yummy, and a great reward for my 2 hpur Zumbathon that morning!
Heres my food for today:
Meal 1:
- Egg-in-a-hole toast (+Whole wheat bread, egg, salt)
- 3 Blueberry muffin scone ... things (I stayed at a friend's house, and we drank a lot that night. I was kind of hungover and REALLY hungry, so I overdid it just a little, haha)
Meal 2:
- Whole wheat bread (+PB)
Meal 3:
- Kashi GoLean Crunch! (+soymilk, coconut milk, chia seeds, PB)
Meal 4:
- Homemade Breakfast bar (+oats, dried fruit, greek yogurt, flaxseed)
Meal 5:
- Leftover brisket
- Rice-a-roni
- Asparagus
- 1.5 slices of whole wheat bread
Meal 6:
- Green Tea (+truvia)
- Chips & salsa (probably 15?)
- 1/2 banana (+CHB)
Not my most fabulous eating day. I really overdid it on Saturday. A friend stayed over Friday night because she was going to come to the Zumbathon. We stayed up a little later than we meant to, but anyway, we got up around 8:20 and ate breakfast/got ready. I ended up doing all the set-up, introducing people, and was 2 songs into it before the actual Zumba trainer showed up. (Oh well). I lead about half of the songs, and everyone had a great time! But 2 hours of intense Zumba in direct sunlight from 10-12 = AHHH. I wore sunscreen, and tried to drink plenty of water. It was a LOT of fun, but man was it hard! By the end of it, I was just dead. My body was done, and I had some heat exhaustion going on. Went home, showered, had a protein shake and didnt move for about 2 hours haha.
Then we had a potluck to go to. Nikki and I were so exhausted, but we went for about an hour. I had some chicken, sausage, veggies and 1/2 a cookie, which really didn't appeal to me very much.
Then we got to come home for about 2 hours before we turned right back around for girl's night at the Cheescake Factory. By the end of that, it was around 9, and we got to her place around 9:30. FINALLY put some pajamas on (nothing feels better than taking off a bra at the end of the day haha), and I practically guzzled 2 glasses of wine, and we painted and laughed and had fun til about 4am.
Today has mostly been recuperating. I wish I hadn't planned for so much on Saturday. I did well with my eating on Saturday, but today has been a bit of a bust. But it's funny, because post-clean eating I view chips & salsa and not-enough-veggies as 'a bust.' Before it would have been Pizza Hut, or Dairy Queen. So I take solace in the fact that I'm still doing really well.
Wow, sorry if this all sounds bizarre and everywhere. I'm looking forward to starting the week, and getting a decent night's sleep tonight. Tomorrow I'm FINALLY going to make those Tam's Constitutional muffins, since my bran came in the mail. Yay!!
OH AND THE BEST NEWS OF ALL! I WEIGHED 189 SATURDAY MORNING. Its my lowest weight since Pepper was born! IM IN THE 180s! WOOOO!!!
