* In this episode: Massu was asked by a listener to say "Yuya" (lol). He sang along with "BayFM78" (kinda off-pitch though XD) and also got a mail that asks him which animal he respects the most ^^; Other topics include: "Happy Birthday" reaching No.1 on the chart, tofu, banana (and suggests making it part of Russ-K jacket design?), culture festival, etc. ^^

1. Opening: Massu says that today is Karaoke Day! (lol)
- He went to sing karaoke yesterday and challenged singing Kubota Toshinobu-san's song, "Missing", again (previously mentioned in Sept.12 episode). He says that normally when singing karaoke, he'd be happy singing 80% well, but for this song he always gets around 60%. He either forgets part of the lyrics or can't seem to follow the beat well enough.
- Massu reminds people that if they're going to sing karaoke, remember to sing "Happy Birthday"!
2. Question: Does Massu prefer firm tofu or soft tofu?
- Massu says that he likes tofu a lot, especially when eating it with soy sauce. But, he never really thought about which type he likes better; he just likes tofu in general. He says that as long as it's not too hot it's fine, because he doesn't like the heat.
* hello-q: oh my~ even tofu can't be too hot? XD just let it cool before you eat then~
3. This week's NEWS: Massu says that he went shopping recently.
- He says that he went to a fashion chain store. He found a shirt that he likes but they said that they didn't have his size at the moment.
- Massu says that he'd chat with the shop assistant if it's a store he regularly goes to. This time, they chatted nicely. Then, he seemed to hear one of the shop assistants eating. It seems like Shige is familiar with that store, so Massu told Shige about it and mentioned that he thinks one of them was eating while he was there. Shige was like, "Majide?" and laughed, then said that he'll go punch him.**
** you guys know that Shige's joking ne? ^^
4. Question: Seems like the listener mentioned that Matsumoto Jun says that he eats banana before concerts(?)... What does Massu do before concerts?
- Massu started to talk about how the Japanese are really into eating bananas these days**. Speaking of bananas, Massu recalls going to V6's concert. He heard that V6 always drinks banana juice before performing, so when Massu went to visit, he bought bananas for them. Inohara-kun said that he's happy because they eat a lot of bananas. And when Massu went into their dressing room, he really saw a bunch of bananas (lol). Then for some reason, Massu started commenting that if Russ-K's jackets have bananas on it or as part of the design that'd be nice (lol?!)
** This got heated up because an actress (won't mention name here) said that she successfully lost weight on a banana diet. (note: please correct me if I'm saying it wrongly or something) utako says that bananas are sold out really quickly nowadays.
5. Letter: The listener congratulates NEWS for reaching Singles Ranking No.1 with "Happy Birthday"!
- Massu says that he's happy, because 10 consecutive singles all have reached the No.1 spot. Their record follows that of Kinki Kids. He hopes that they can continue to update this record.

6. Letter: A listener from Okinawa commented that even though it's October already, it is still really hot there.
- After hearing that she's from Okinawa, Massu says that Okinawa is nice ne. He really wants to go there since he has not been there before. He says that if they were to hold a concert there, it'd be interesting if they can go for three days and have the middle day off. Then, on the 3rd or last day there, they can talk during the MC about what they did the day before. He thinks it can be very interesting. Massu hears that it is still around 30 degree Celsius at Okinawa~ still very hot ne.
7. Question: What if the family of the girl Massu likes owns a ramen restaurant?
- Massu says then eating gyoza once every week might be okay too~ like, eating ramen in the morning and gyoza in the evening (lol)
* hello-q: like ramen for lunch & gyoza for dinner? lol, and ramen restaurant simply makes me think of Kei-chan.
8. Request: The listener says that Massu only calls Tegoshi-kun, "Tegoshi" and asks Massu to say "Yuya".
- Massu laughed, lol, and commented that it's a weird mail. But he did, he said "Yuya" nicely with echo effect. (XD)
9. Question: What is the animal Massu respects the most?
- Massu comments that the mails have been weird recently, lol, seems like the listeners want to play with/trick him (lol). He also says that in this mail, the listener also put an emoji of a happy face with the "peace" (or "yay") gesture.
- He seriously thought of this question, and answered that the animal he respects the most is probably elephant. Elephants look like they are to be respected. Once you see an elephant you won't forget it. Then Massu goes about saying why he was answering so seriously. (XD)

10. Letter: The listener says that she performed in the culture festival and her muscles end up hurting a lot. (hello-q: I think she said it involved 1000+ people (1060 or 1006?)? This 'performance(?)' makes her feel touched once it's achieved. I think she also said that Massu's performances on concerts also makes her feel touched, and wishes NEWS members to be genki, that the fans will feel the same too. ---> utako briefly wrote this so I roughly added a few things I could catch from listening.. if I misunderstood something, do correct me ne, thanks!)
- He feels happy to receive this mail. Massu says that this mail is completely different from the previous two (lol) One wanted him to say "Yuya" and the other asked him which animal he respects the most (lol).
- Massu comments that the muscles would indeed hurt ne. Massu also did a similar performance back in Kinpachi Sensei**~ he says that they practiced for it too, but once it's done it touches people so he says it's a good thing.
** hello-q: I've not watched Kinpachi Sensei 6 yet. Which episode was it?
Music: Fly Again
~ This song is from their third album. ^^ Massu says that the new album contains songs from their previous singles, songs they've sang at concerts, and new songs as well. This song, "Fly Again", Massu says that he liked it the first time he heard it, and this is the first time he's playing it on Master Hits. He says that he'll be playing many songs from the album in future episodes.
11. Master Beat: "My Life, Your Entertainment" by T.I. (featuring Usher)
- Massu says that he has liked T.I. for a quite a while and he liked this song the first time he heard it. He knew that Usher had a collaboration with them but he didn't know that it was this song at first. After finding it out, he feels that it's truly Usher (lol). Massu says that back then, T.I.'s albums didn't sell very well, but because they're really talented, Destiny's Child and other artists really wanted to work with them. Then, their albums sales got better. Massu hopes people can listen to their songs, because he thinks their songs are cool.
12. Ending:
- Massu says that NEWS's 3rd album "color" will be released on Nov.19. He hopes everyone will listen to it. The song he played today, "Fly Again", is a really good song. He hopes that people would e-mail him their opinions.
