We had our orchestra concert tonight! Fun <3 mingmingcheong came and we hung out afterwards in fail!Sacramento XD
I had an unfortunate zone out moment and played two beats too early in the last phrase of one of the pieces. Thank god the brass was blasting away waaay too loud for me to be heard. Thank GOD my section was smart enough not to follow me hahahahahaha ORZ.
I-I hope I don't do that again in the future.
FFF I love the Schumann Symphony 4.
So one of the pieces we played, Aaron Copland piece "Billy the Kid" is about Cowboys and the Wild West. Schumann is... Schumann. During rehearsal, we played through the Copland first, then went into the Schumann. Our conductor (Leo), unsatisfied with our playing stopped us and said. "Ok, so Billy the Kid was open prairies. Now go from prairies to mental asylum".
ROFL. (FYI - Schumann was a brilliant amazing man/composer/music critic who ended up committing suicide in a mental asylum)
FFFF ROMANTIC PIECES STEAL MY HEARTSOUL. ++
I slept through my first class this morning, but as a result I was nice and awake <3
I also found out I got an A on my first exam of the semester~! Yay <3
But. I've been disappointing my violin teacher lately. I need to get it together and get better at what I need to do!

I should go to sleep before it's too late to be awake for rehearsals tomorrow.
