we are exactly the type of people they want buying houses right now. We have no faults, late payments or bankruptcies.
We make almost 3 time the national household average so we don't qualify for any assistance from anyone. But the bank demands more money from us than we could possibly have. If only ONE of us were working we could get all kinds of support from everyone to a buy a twice as expensive house.
But today BoA randomly decided they want 10% down payment. Not 5% as agreed 2 months ago. Sure why not we have a secret $10k over and above what we told you we had 2 months ago in our savings account we were trying to figure out how to blow.
