But it wouldn't be the same without chocolate. A rich chocolate cake would be even better.
What you need:
3 large eggs, 3/4 cup sugar, 4 ounces of dark chocolate, 1 stick unsalted butter, 1/2 cup dark cocoa, a pinch of salt and 1 tsp vanilla extract
Whisk the eggs and sugar together until foamy, about 2 minutes. Then melt the chocolate and butter together and stir until smooth. Add to the egg mixture and whisk together. Stir in cocoa powder, salt, and vanilla. Stir until well blended. Then Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease an 8 in pan then dust with cocoa powder. Pour in the batter and bake for 30 minutes. When done remove from oven and cool on wire rack. After 25 minutes invert the cake and allow to cool completely. Dust with more cocoa and store in the frig until serving. Have Fun!
