Important news items!

1) Apparently, I was a dirty, dirty elementary schooler. (Although to be fair, playing Doctor chez Bryson actually did involve pantomime stethoscopes, deadly diseases, and being carted around in our makeshift "ambulance"... actually, I think the ambulance was pretty much the essence of Doctor. Cause wheels are FUN.) But back on topic; I'm discussing the Alanna books (Tamora Pierce's Lioness Quartet, you know, those fantastic books!) which I read in.. oh gosh, somewhere between second and fourth grade. Probably second, if not first. And there's a lot of sex in there for the under 10 crowd. (Actually, there's a fair amount of alluded-to sex in there for any book. Alanna got laid a lot, 'specially for someone who spent most of her time being a man.) But the people I'm talking to apparently never got that there was all the sexing going on -- I got it the first time I read it. Oy vey...

2) I have a Heller! :DDD Life is sweet.

(For those of you who don't know, Hell Week, Bryn Mawr's third tradition, consists of freshwomen choosing a sophmore to be their "heller" for the week and assign them stupid tasks and stuff. Hazing, but with love.)

3)... Oh, I know there was a three! Darn!

Please go on with your regularly scheduled day. That is all.
