I was in Wolfram and Hart, starin' at something that I never thought that I would see.
I was starin' at the Wolf, the Ram and The Hart, flashes comin' back to me of the first time that we had learned that they were all seperate entities, with those books back in Pylea and the look on Wesley's face.
"Everyone else is dead! Did you show yourselves to finish me off?!" I asked, definatly and loudly, but all that I got for my trouble were three seperately menacin' laughs, before I found myself tumbling through the air, and then shockinly, I landed, like I had jumped of a two foot louder, no worse for wear then I already was.
That, in itself, was pretty bad, though. All of my friends were gone. All of them. Angel, Wes, Cordy, Fred, Spike, Illyria.
It hit me, other then knowin' that I had to look for Faith, and it hit me hard. LORNE! Lorne was somewhere and he was very much not dead. He had said that he was done wit all of this shit before we started our fatal for everyone but me missions, but he might change his tune, if I could just talk to him.
He might have died too, for all that I knew, but he may have been alive. I knew I had to look for Faith, but I had a good idea of where Lorne might be. The search for Faith was probably more of waitin' at the Hyperion, anyway, because if she didn't want to be found, then she wouldn't be, but Lorne was different.
Vegas was a big town, but it was better then tryin' to look throughout the entire state of California for Faith or Buffy or anyone else.
There were still mad demons to fight. That, I knew, and I knew that I couldn't do it alone, so I sprinted around to the parkin' garage, still freaked by seein' the partners, and rushed into the viper, speeding off out of the parkin' garage headin' towards Vegas, and Lorne.
