Still coming to the canyon
Vyzygoth continues interviewing McGowan (1) and McGowan adds two more installments (2 3) to his latest series, which he now believes will run to 12 installments. I kind of figured Vyz would raise a certain topic, and now that he has I think I'll address it a bit. As I do so, I recommend McGowan's conspiracy theory series (4 5 6). Not all theories are created equal. The notion that Theodor Adorno was engaged in some kind of conspiracy involving the Beatles is something straight out of the warped mind of Jack D. Ripper (7). Adorno, co-author of Dialectic of Enlightenment (8), would have opposed any kind of mass movement, though that didn't exactly stop the 1968 student movement from drawing on Adorno's work, but that was the choice of the movement, not the choice of Adorno. Anyway, I just wanted to throw that out. I'm adding a bunch of postscripts about raw foods, hiking, and wine tasting.
