1616 - "Look at him now, disappearing a cow. Where is the cow? Hidden right now."

The funeral was today. It was rather Catholic in nature being as my aunt and that whole side of the family is Catholic. A surprising number of people showed up, mostly from her work (she was well liked) and the service was nicely done. I got to see a lot of people who I knew from when I was really little, including the father of the girls who used to live next door to my grandparents'. I used to run over as soon as we arrived to demand Astrid and Beatrice come out to play.
After that we went back to my grandparents' place, discussed legal stuff and hung about for a while and then drove back to Canmore. Which is where I am.

Tomorrow's plans include going back into Calgary, hopefully hanging out with Talley for the first time in years unless she gets dragged into further work-related drama and then sleeping for one last night at my Grandparents' before heading home Sunday morning.
I am SO looking forward to that. I don't think Anthony is going to be able to pick me up from the airport which is disappointing, but even going home all by myself will be amazing. I miss my cave.
