I am not doing anything or going anywhere tonight. I don't know how I feel about this. It's probably a good thing as I spent most of the day helping Kevin and Fairfax move and am exhausted. I'd probably go somewhere, drink half a beer and then fall asleep by 11.
Actually, I might just do that anyway.
Anthony and I were planning on making New Years Day our together time anyway. I got some sausages and tomatoes and bacon and we're going to fry up everything and harden our arteries.
Speaking of food, have I ever mentioned that Anthony has been promoted to head-sauce-making-guy of our relationship? We've been having a lot of pasta lately and usually if I am willing to chop up the onion, Anthony is willing to make the sauce and this is because he is SO SO GOOD AT IT. None of them are ever the same but they all taste delicious. I'd tell you what was in them except that I no idea. Last nights included a whole boatload of cumin because we'd been out of cumin for a while (just forgot to pick more up) and he was experiencing cumin withdrawals. YUM.
Fairfax's new place is AMAZING and has pretty much sold me on the idea of living in that building or another co-op just like it. I just have to sell Anthony on the idea. One of the main things is that we have to wrangle transit to his work. I'm fine as long as we're somewhat near a skytrain, but getting to West Van is a bit more complicated, especially when you have to be there by 6AM.
Also, if we did get a place in their building, judging by what they're paying for a 3bdrm, we could easily afford a 2bdrm which is just extravagant to me. A whole extra full-sized room? Just posh. Also, by my standards their kitchen is HUGE!
Also, I want to post some pictures but my photoshop is borked and I don't know how to fix it. So I can't.
Also, Down and Out in Paris and London is awesome. I needs me more Orwell.
