1568 - "If the track is tough and the hill is rough, THINKING you can just ain't enough!”

Am taking a brief break from the cleaning and the food prep to internet and change the TV channel. I use the TV as background noise since music tends to bother me when I am working unless someone else is doing the choosing. The radio works as well, but the radio is in the bedroom masquerading as an alarm clock.

I'm nervous about this turkey. This is the biggest thing I've ever cooked all at once and the first time I have ever had what can be termed a "dinner party."

I've been watching a lot of home improvement type TV because I've been getting serious "live in a house!" cravings lately.
It will pass since moving and/or buying is years and years and years in the future. (Have to pay off Anthony's schooling for which he is unwilling to take a loan and then possibly move and then possibly start-up costs for luthiery and also because I am very very wary of mortgages. The word "death" is in there for a reason.)

Sleeping in today was wonderful. I didn't have Anthony in the bed since he's been kicked to the comfy chair because he's sick (not punishment, it helps to sleep slightly upright.)

The weather has finally turned cold which to me is the real signal that winter is here. But I am not going to complain. I said I wouldn't.

weather, the future, food
