Fantasy Football - Euro2008
Okay, so probably no-one reading this will care, but I don't care!! *g*
I've just completed my team for the Fantasy Football Euro 2008 League, which I'm joining with my cousins Tom and Oscar, my aunt Jane, Tom's wife, Amanda, and Tom's friend, Paul (and maybe some others I don't know about yet!).
My team is called the Continental Angels (because they're Hel's *g*) and consists of:
Forwards
Alessandro Del Piero - Italy (AC Milan)
Milan Baroš - Czech Republic (Portsmouth)
Fernando Torres - Spain (Liverpool)
Midfielders
Cristiano Ronaldo - Portugal (Manchester United)
Dirk Kuyt - Netherlands (Liverpool)
Deco - Portugal (FC Barcelona)
Freddie Ljunberg - Sweden (West Ham)
Defenders
Robert Kovač - Croatia (Borussia Dortmund)
Roman Shirokov - Russia (FC Zenit Saint Petersburg)
Gabriel Tamaş - Romania (AJ Auxerre)
Fredrik Stoor - Sweden (Rosenberg BK)
Goalkeeper
Petr Čech - Czech Republic (Chelsea)
Of course, if anyone gets injured or plays appallingly, then I can make some transfers. I've spent all but 1.5 million of my allotted 100 million euros! They'd better pay me back! *g*
The keen-eyed among you may have noticed that I have 12 players and generally, only 11 are allowed to play. Well, I have a substitute, who right now is Del Piero (mainly because I haven't quite worked out to change my formation and thus put someone else on the sub bench yet!).
