I still feel the pain even if I'm drunk. I can never get away from it.

Had my wisdom teeth pulled. That is the two in the upper jaw. The doctor foresaw it as a 50 minute operation, but it only took 20 minutes. Thereof 10 minutes of waiting for the anesthesia to kick in ( Read more... )

Wow, I just came home from my third tour today. Three hours out on sea each and around an hour ashore for each trip as well.

Looooong workday.

But today I did manage to see:

• a humpback
  
• a minke whale
  
• two blue whales
  
• a group of orcas

As well as other whales in the distance.

My job really is the best, isn't it?

What the heck is wrong with me? I've left the stove on so many times this past week. I never did before. Why am I so ditsy?

I've discovered that pneumonia is by far the most effective diet you can have. Not that I particularly fancy doing it again but I do like the outcome. Now I just have to keep exercising and that few weeks of feeling like death might actually pay off.

Did anyone sense the satire?

So. The funeral was yesterday and today for the first time in weeks I'm working on my final piece. I have to turn it in on Wednesday and I'm still a few minutes short ( Read more... )

Procrastination will be the death of me.

I stood up too quickly and my lower right abdomen spasmed. I didn't like it.

It can be ridiculous how much I love my cat.
I don't consider her a sister or anything that level, but I kind of get this warm feeling inside whenever I look at her. It breaks my heart to leave her and I'm always elated when I see her.
I'll really miss her when she dies, which I selfishly hope will happen in my lifetime.
