Well dear reader, that time is upon us again, when we run around like chickens without our heads, desperately trying to find the perfect gifts for those that we care about. It's that time when friendships are tested, who do you care about that's worth a gift, are you worth a gift to those whom you know, and not only that but will you pigeonholed properly or will people make assumptions about your likes and dislikes that lead them to buy the worst possible thing for you? Will you be forced to plaster that fake smile as you pretend that the gift is indeed something you like, or will it be a genuine thanks?
This year think carefully about those you hold dear before you open their gifts and give them yours. Part of the gift is pretending you like it even if you don't.
