Hercules: 2014
The official trailer for 2014's Hercules: The Legend Begins is a visual delight. Shades of Immortals, 300, and Gladiator, with reconstructions of Bronze Age Mycenaean architecture thrown in. The Lion Gate of Mycenae, the court of Knossos(?), and the citadel of Tiryns (Herakles's birthplace). The story isn't hewing that closely to the myth, and I sincerely hope the film is better than the dreadful Clash of the Titans remake (the original is one of my favorite movies of all time, btw).
