Ooooooh, we've had our census form! As a lapsed family historian, this is quite exciting for me!
10 years ago, I was 28 and living in this house with a husband, a toddler and a baby.
20 years ago, I was 18 and living in a hall of residence in Manchester, in my first year of Polytechnic.
30 years ago, I was 8 and living in a house in Derbyshire with my mum, dad and younger brother.
40 years ago... I wasn't born yet.
I'm going to make filling in the census a family event. There are separate forms for all of us and I think the children will enjoy contributing their information to what I see as an important future historical document.
