Placement Wednesday
School today was really good. Miss D's knee is poorly enough that she will be off work all week, and the class had a different Miss D, who does regular supply at school but I'd never met her before. She is absolutely lovely and was really encouraging to me at lunchtime, saying I seem very comfortable in the classroom. :-)
I definitely felt more at home in the class today as I'm really learning names and characters, and the children are getting used to me. My favourite bit of the day was working with a group in literacy making up spells - these children have a truly disgusting imagination and I was almost put off my lunch! *grin*
College tomorrow to hand in my final two assignments and check they're acceptable before having everything signed off on Friday. It was really weird settling down to watch the football this evening without feeling the pressure of assignments hanging over me!
