(no subject)
I've spent the day getting organised and packing, because we are off to the wilds of Scotland with nicolap and family tomorrow!
Am so so looking forward to this, we all need a break and I am excited about being able to relax and have fun with my lovely children without any timetables, school, college or assignments hanging over my head constantly!
The journey is a bit epic, but I've been researching it quite a lot today and have some breaks planned, very important especially as I'm the only driver and need to keep myself fresh. We set off at about 5 tomorrow morning.
Rhino the hamster has been delivered to Little Three's friend's house and most of the packing is done. There is still more to get organised but I've just been sitting down and having a break with a cup of tea - this is the cup of tea I was going to have about four hours ago, but I kept putting the kettle on and then wandering off to do stuff and forgetting to make the tea; I think I did that three times!
I have no idea what mobile signal is like up there (we're going to Mallaig which is on the west coast of Scotland about two thirds of the way up), but if I can get a signal I will post teeny updates each day using my phone. If I can't get any signal, I'll see you in a week! I won't be keeping up to date with lj and facebook so if anyone has any news I really shouldn't miss, give me a point in the right direction when I get back. :-)
I can't emphasise enough how much I need this holiday at the moment. I feel incredibly lucky that we are able to go. :-)
