A quick phone post!
Our internet connection has been dire for the last 24 hours, which is a pain as I was going to use this evening to catch up on a few things on iplayer! Oh well.
This morning I set my alarm so I could phone the doctors at half past eight for an appointment for Two who has impetigo. Amazingly I got through on about the tenth try, at only 8.33, and got an appointment for 9.35. He now has his third lot of antibiotics in as many months *sigh* - he has never had them in his whole life before as far as I remember, but is making up for it recently!
The weather has been lovely here today and I tried really hard to shoo all the children outside for the afternoon while I got on with some tidying, but they all came back in quite quickly! I did manage the tidying, with a background accompaniment of screaming, fighting children! Having done that I then rewarded myself with a very long sit down and a cup of tea!
Tea was one of those Tesco deals for a fiver again - this time we had sausage and onion pie, mashed potato, and profiteroles, yum! It all went down extremely well and I for one am still feeling full over 4 hours later!
I've spent the evening feeling the lack of internet, and playing with the shiny ipod again. I'm getting to grips with it now and thoroughly enjoying it - a real treat to myself!
I also got a load of washing dry on the line today, which always makes it feel properly like spring, hurrah!
