Given how little sleep I had last night, I'm amazed I'm still awake.

I did the shopping this morning with mrsrevj, though I managed to leave my shopping list at home - oops! When I got back and found the list on the kitchen table, I crossed things off as I unpacked them. Turns out I only forgot the sugar (for general use) and the cream (for the curry on Friday), so I'll have to get those at some point in the next couple of days. Don't have to go to Tesco for them though.

It was lovely to have a nice cuppa (in fact it was a VERY nice and much needed cuppa!) and a chat with mrsrevj and revoz before we ladies went shopping. That will make it on to my 'good things' list later on! :-)

Once home, with the shopping all put away, I had a bit of lunch and then got on with tidying up - sweeping floors (it was quite obvious I hadn't done them for days! *g*), putting a load of washing on, sorting dry washing and putting it away. Did a bit of bag unpacking from when we were away that I hadn't got around to yet. Then it was time to go and get the children from school.

Both L2 and L3 were very excited that the snow was still here by the end of school and were eager to walk home (we quite often hang around and get a lift with Tim). We crunched home on the icy snow and enjoyed every minute of it! L1 in the meantime had taken herself to grandma's house, and she phoned to tell me so. :-)

Now the sun has gone down it seems to be getting colder by the second! L1 phoned to tell me she was on her way home, and then phoned again from her mobile in tears on the way home because she had slipped over and hurt her elbow. Poor lass. I think she is ok, just a bit bumped and grazed. They all seem to have had good days at school.

Jacket spuds for tea with tuna mayonnaise and cottage cheese. They should warm our tummies! Then Tim and I might watch the downloaded Jonathan Creek on iPlayer this evening - I adore Alan Davies in all his gorgeousness and am very excited that Sheridan Smith is in it too because I think she is fabulous. So there will be much drooling and admiration going on in my corner, and hopefully it will be a good story too!

I am currently chain-eating Lockets because that is the only way to stop myself coughing in between doses of Covonia! I absolutely have to have a better night's sleep this evening! I feel very detached from reality at the moment, through lack of sleep...
