Morning all
Very groggy this morning. Yuk. Children all seem to be getting on each other's nerves as well, and their constant bickering is getting on my nerves!
I didn't sleep brilliantly and this morning I feel a bit sore-throaty and ear-ish; I am telling myself firmly that there was still smoke from yesterday morning's fire hanging around in the air last night (because there was, we could smell it) and that is the reason why, because I sure as anything do not have time to have a cold this week!!
I'm going to be out virtually all day today: town, hospital, P and C's house, nursery run, sports day, afternoon school run. Thank goodness it is beans on toast for tea!
It should be a nice day, with plenty of variety, but it will be very hectic! I'm looking forward to an evening in on my own once the older ones are back from Cubs; Tim is going to the cinema to watch Prince Caspian and I will probably have an early night with a book and revel in the fact I don't have to talk to anyone for a few hours, after a day of solid-being-sociable! My introvert's batteries will definitely be in need of a recharge by this evening. :-)
Ooh, games night was great fun last night; we played a new game of arky72's called Carcassone and once we had got our heads around the rules we really enjoyed it - it's brilliant!
