Thursday progresses
I have had a bath and washed my hair. I feel a million times better for this. :-)
I have put away the dry washing; there is still a lot of dampish washing hanging around all over the place but it is a good start.
The bureau desk is looking at me accusingly. I wonder if I will be able to blitz it in the next 20 minutes before we have lunch at 12?
Little One is having a friend round this afternoon which should keep her nicely occupied. Little Two is lying in bed in his pyjamas, reading. Am jealous! Little Three alternates between playing nicely and yelling like a little screaming banshee 'but I have NOBODY to PLAY with!!!' It is most wearing and she seems to have few resources for entertaining herself - it is hard work. However as I am sitting her complaining about her, she is colouring perfectly happily at the dining table, so it isn't all completely horrendous.
I am anticipating complete meltdown from Little Three at some point today seeing as she didn't go to bed until 9.25, having screamed at me rather a lot before that and refused point blank to go to bed. *sigh* But that is Grandma's problem for the next two nights, and knowing Grandma, she won't have a single trouble with the dear child! Maybe Grandma can train her into a better bedtime routine while Tim and I run away and leave her to it. ;-)
Oops, I now seem to have only 12 minutes left to blitz the desk... time to get on with it I think!
