Latin

As of about 6.40 this morning, I have finally learned all 165 lines of the Virgil. Now I get to revise them over and over until Thursday afternoon, which is when the Virgil exam is.

Tomorrow afternoon is the unseen comprehension and translation paper. For that, I have to go over and over the vocab, and do a couple of past papers for practice. I feel reasonably confident about that paper now, as in our extra Latin lesson on Saturday, we did a few past papers and they were.... not too bad *she says, trying not to tempt fate*.

When Thursday and the Virgil are out of the way, I still have to learn my Latin prose and the Roman Daily Life topics, for the two papers next Tuesday. I haven't even started thinking about those ones yet. But in general, bits of these exams are starting to feel vaguely achievable now.

And in other news.... well, there is plenty of other stuff going on; the good and the challenging. But I can't (don't want to?) talk about any of it at the moment because it has to be Latin and only Latin for the next week or so. LJ silence is not only exam related by any means; I have been letting a lot of things slide recently and have to do a lot of intensive work to catch up and make things right again.

Good luck to everyone examming just now, especially rosie_rah, euphrosyna and mrsrev.

friends, lj, gcse, latin, revision
