A Relaxing Mother's Day
Yesterday, Hilary, the boys, and I had a fun filled day full of activities which started with a full Celtic service at Hil's Methodist Church. It was truly beautiful. Afterwards, we met Hilary's family for lunch at Ramsey's. The boys did very well. Bailey even sat in a big boy chair and ate all his meal.
Then, we went to visit with my family at my sister's house for a cookout that evening. The boys had a blast. Bailey kept following little Brayden around saying, "Hi Baby. I love baby. It's okay baby." He is very excited about the new little guy and, most importantly, he understands how to gently interact with him. The boys had a chance to play ball and jump on the trampoline with their other cousins too. I found out that there will be another little one added to the family in the near future.
Fun was had by all. The boys were pretty tired by the time we got home; Jakob was really cranky. After their bathes, they both slept very well.
