Chris and Christina's wedding was beautiful. It was a Scottish wedding with bag pipes and kilts instead of tuxes. It truly reflected the fun loving couple. The bubbly bride was her normal bouncy cheerful self, wearing a beautiful bell-shaped off the shoulder beaded gown. The wedding kiss was long and ended in a flamboyant dip.
The priest during the ceremony mentioned how appropriate it was for this particular couple to chose a wedding reminiscent of Lord of the Rings. After that, I, of course, had to see their rings which were engraved along the outside in elven. The translation was written across their 3-tiered wedding cake; "One ring to show our love/ One ring to bind us/ One ring seal our love and forever to entwine us."
During the dancing, they had a great little swing band which Chris told me normally plays at a local pizza place. And, did I mention my date for the wedding was hot? It's been a long time since I've seen my husband wearing a casual suit.
