Beach reading
The plan:
Finish reading Wicked before Pat and I fly out to Alabama in a week and a half.
Bring the following books to be read (or at least begun) during Alabama vacation:
The Perks of Being a Wallflower
at least one Hurcule Poirot novel
at least one of my novels involving China (Saving Fish from Drowning, Peony in Love, Mr. Muo's Travelling Couch)
at least one generally literary book besides the first (which is very short) (Burning Bright, On Beauty, Rabbit is Rich)
Ambitious, but doable.
