maniac magee- jerry spinelli (what a fun book! i loved the narrative style)
the weapon shops of isher- a.e. van vogt (very loosely written, but interesting)
dave barry's book of songs- dave barry (very short, not nearly as good as some of his other books)
murmurs in the rue morgue- marten cumberland (quick to read, a bit dry, flat)
curtain- agatha christie (last hercule poirot book--always good)
revenge- ed. kate saunders (some really good, engrossing stories, especially the louisa mae alcott one, and some i can see why i've never seen anthologized before)
thursday next: first among sequels- jasper fforde (these books have been going a bit downhill since the first one or two, but this was still worth a read)
a wrinkle in time- madeleine l'engle (shorter than i remembered, but always great)
a wind in the door- madeleine l'engle (not as classic as the first, but still good)
