arrived in tn
oh my monkey. just a note to say i made it ok to columbia. as i write this, i don't so much have time to write too much, since micah's libel to run in any second and demand again that i "hackeysack" with him. i just got annika down for another nap. i get the feeling that, come august, i'll have some super strong arms. that baby likes to be carried and bounced.
visiting friends was fantastic, as expected. j-bird was fun and interesting to talk to, as always, and i wish i could've stayed longer. sarah was also very fun, and we ... yeah, what DID we do? watch movies mostly, i guess. played catchphrase with a bunch of her high school friends (sarah and i dominated once paired together). wicked was great. i have to admit, i enjoy listening to just the soundtrack as much as watching the show, though. maybe that's what happens when you listen to the music from a show as much as i did before watching it. there's a funny story involving going to see the show, but i'll save it for when i have longer to be on here (hopefully tonight).
the kids here are fun. taking care of annika will be a lot of work, because she's fussy. i'm mostly unpacked. it's strange being in a new state, though. it's january 2 and it feels like may outside. windows are open. very strange. so yeah, i guess i'll try to get on again tonight to elaborate on this past week and respond to comments etc. cool? cool.
