A good weekend
After a rather stressful two weeks, I had a nice crafty weekend. And did two things that I had not done in forever.
I made Sam and Pat cards for their birthdays yesterday and I played with the maru dai today. I did not have nice coloured threads but used what I had and at least I can still make some braids. And very few tension issues.
At the storage unit is nearly done (happy dance). Some reorganising and making the index cards and inventory and life is good. One things at least got accomplished.
I got an answer from Master Pyotr on the whole comping issue. He did not give quite the answer anyone of us expected. However, there is food for thought and some useful ideas. Will have to see what Council says. Whoohoo.
And South Africa is through to the quarter finals of the rugby world cup (being played in France). They played the US Eagles today and won 64-15. Now the real fun starts.
I need to do the embroidery handout for both my Ithra classes. Since the Coeur du Val one is basically the same one as Rovings to Raiment, one size should fit all. Or that is the basic idea at least.
