“Mom I want a squirrel.” Chibi Yama begged his mom to get him one but apparently even his puppy eyes are of no use right now. So after faking a tear up and still getting a no he finally turned sour and pouted.
“C’mon Ryo… You know our condo doesn’t allow pets inside.” His mom explained.
“Oh great, then why do I hear scratches from the neighbors?”
“What did you say?” His mom went pale.
“Great, now my mom’s deaf.” He crossed his arms and looked away.
“Ryosuke… we don’t have a neighbor.”
He suddenly felt chills… “Don’t lie mom I see the old man everyday.” He laughed nervously.
“Well then why don’t I prove you wrong? Let’s go back now.”
“Sure, whatever.”
Chibi Yama’s jaw dropped. There was a new neighbor in the room where the old man lived.
“That’s impossible. He gives me cookies and strawberry milk everyday.” He was shocked.
“Good afternoon I’m Chinen Yuri, your new neighbor.” The beautiful woman shook the hand of Yama’s mom.
“Yamada Nami. This is my son Ryosuke. Say hi.” Nami put Ryosuke in front of her.
“Ah… It’s nice to meet you.” Yamada bowed his head.
“Ara~ I have a son who’s about the same age as him. Yuri come here.” Yuri mama called his son.
A small guy with a really black hair and eyes with pale skin peeked from Yuri mama’s behind.
“Come on don’t be shy.” Nami called to him and he slowly went in front of his mom.
“I-it’s nice to meet you.” He bowed so slightly and made the floor look so interesting.
“So small.” Were the first words Ryosuke used to describe Yuri.
“Well, nothing less expected from a girl.”
Both moms laughed as the little “girl” blushed.
Nami smacked her son’s back hard while laughing. “hahaha! My son’s eyesight just seem to have weakened.”
“It didn’t! Why are you laughing? Did I say something wrong?” Chibi Yama pouted.
“Iya, My son just really look cute like a girl.” Yuri mama laughed.
“Eh?! Son?! But that’s a girl!” I pointed at her- who’s apparently a him by some chance.
The gi- guy ran away red from blushing… and were those tears that flowed from his cheeks? Oh no!
“I’ll be back!”
It’s late and I haven’t seen him yet. If he’s really a guy then I must’ve hurted his pride a lot.
I was passsing by the park when I heard faint sobs.
“Daijoubu? Ah! It’s you.”
Sh- He looked at me. Wow. Even if he’s crying he looks so cute.If I were a girl I’d be ashamed of calling myself one in front of him.
“I’m sorry. Here, take this handkerchief.” He took it a bit hesitantly from me.
