I had been wondering why I couldn't fit everything in the picture when I used to be able to, no problem. The phone setting got moved to square, and I hadn't noticed. Oops.
1 large bunch of bok choi, 3 ears of corn, 4 tomatoes, 2 summer squash, 1 other squash, a pint of cherry tomatoes, and 6 nectarines.
Lou ate the front tomato with dinner tonight, as I warned him it was going to go bad really quickly. We'll need to eat the corn on Friday. No idea what we're going to do with the gigantic bok choi. Or rather, when we're going to be able to eat it. Tomorrow is date night out, Friday is our GURPS game and we'll need to eat the corn then or it'll get bad, Saturday is Lou's parent's 50th anniversary party. Sunday? I guess I can do a stir fry with them, maybe get some steaks (we haven't had steak at home in ages). That might be good. But it's so huge, we are totally not going to be able to eat it all at once. I guess it could reheat for leftovers, if we have enough of something it could go with!
Still have the summer squash from last week, and now 2 more this week. With the gastrointestinal distress I got from the zucchini, I'm not fond of cutting it up and eating it raw. The other one looks too light for a zucchini, so I'm wondering if it's one like we got in a previous year (that I can't find right now) that was a kind of middle eastern squash. Might just be a variety of zucchini though. Still need to figure out what to do with them.
