brace youselves, im going to write an entry that is not comprised of me bitching or taking a quiz...
ive had a pretty good couple of weeks. wow, i know right? i got my wisdom teeth out and although it was painful, i strangly enjoy the feeling of falling asleep and waking up due to the i.v. they put in my arm. its a strange and worryless experience that seems to happen in the blink of an eye.
ive been working 0-4 days a week and have been extremely bored every single day, but im making money and it feels good not to be borrowing it anymore. i havent been able to keep any of the money yet (ive been paying bills and loans back) but i dont feel so hopeless anymore.
and ya know how i suck with computers? well, guess who has been learning web design? thats right, ME! ive started with html and it is so much easier than i thought it would be (so far). if you want a simple web site made for very little cost just let me know. im doing a pro bono site for cat trap right now as well as my own site called "bitch a fit on martha's vineyard" its basiclly what i think about this fucking rock in the middle of the island. neither are available for viewing yet cuz i havent gotten taht far. right now im just designing them and writing code. ill let you know when theyre up. when i get a little better im going to take over my mother's site that rob started. that site is already up and has tons of pretty pieces you can buy with paypall or you can just call us. www.lahartjewelry.com im taking some more pictures for the site tomorrow.
i also want to get back into photography. i used to love doing and and have a really good eye for portraits. if you need a portrait for your year book call me up. i did a couple for my friends in high school and i have a portfolio you can look through. i wish i had a digital/slr/auto/manual combo camera. my friend at school had one and it was amazing! i hate wait to find out how my pictures have come out. its too expencive to get film developed at the store so i send it to clark color labs (look it up on line) its like $2.50 a role and theyre always having specials. does anyone have a slide scanner i could use and/or borrow?
last weekend rob, wilto and i went to canada. a lot more people were supposed to go but they punked out. too bad cuz we had fun. we went to a casion where i started with $5 and walked out with a whapping $9.75! thats right, im amazing! rob did well at the blackjack table and wilto lost all the money he didnt have to start with. we went to a strip club too. my first time. i was hoping to get a lap dance with rob but that didnt happen. boys suck. it was funny to watch the guys walk off for their dances with excited nervous looks on their faces and come back with grins and sweaty faces. imagine the power those girls must feel. being able to do all that to a guy and they cant do a thing about it. lol. if i were skinny i would be a stripper. at least for a little while to try it out. we also went to this irish pub both nights. it had great bar staff. they were a lot of fun to joke with and very good at sellling us drinks. rob ended up buying shots for these skinny nerd kids who were there for some geek convension and getting them totally shit face for the first time. lol. we're all facebook friends now. i heart facebook.
this weekend rob is coming to the island for st. patrick's day and we're going to the p.a. club. thats right, we're spending st. patrick's day at the portugese-american club aka the holly ghost association. lol. and im totally jelouse of those of you who are spending it in boston.
the weekend after is robs birthday! we're going to see the new ninja turtles movie, enjoying the xbox 360 cake im making him, going to legal sea food for dinner with his parents and then out on the town. you should come out and buy him a drink. he deserves it.
if you have ever been to a bar with rob you know he has bought you at least one drink, so i think for his bday everyone should pay him back by buying him drinks for a change. lets get him totally shit faced and take pictures for facebook that he wont remember the next day.
anyway, thats my exciting but not too exciting life as of lately. if youre on the island you should give me a call. and if youre in boston you should give me a call. im always willing to treck it out there for a good time and a place to stay. i can pay you with whampom or sea glass. your choice. lol. so i think i need to shower. i smell a little funny. oh! before i forget, ben taylor came into the store today and totally made it worth working there today! lol. hes pretty. not as pretty as my bobby brown though.
