Tumbled out of bed this morning into complete darkness.
No power.
Went over to the fuse box and in a flurry of flickering switches managed to get the power back on.
Go in to my computer room to restart my computer.
Sit down in front of my two very large monitor screens and restart my computer,one of the monitors pings in to life,the other gives nary a beep or flashing light.
I stand up to look at the monitor better and discover the monitor top full of lumpy brown cat vomit.
Vomit that while fresh has obviously poured through the vent holes and caused the monitor to scream and expire bringing the flat circuit breaker in to effect.
Vomit all down the dide of the pc desk too.
Zelma(my lovely black cat) has a fondness for lying on top of the monitors soaking up all the heat those big CRT monitors could throw out.
Cause and effect,cause and effect.

I never even admonished the cat,stoic as I am.

Good job I get paid today.
Will pick up a huge flatscreen monitor.
(there are very good deals on at the moment at Office depot)

Lovely start to the morning.

I cleaned up the cat vomit too.

I love cats.
