Aaaahhhhh.........
Spent yesterday and today giving superb Vranac wine(bought in Serbia from Montenegro) to all my students(14 of the buggers) bringing a great deal of surprised pleasure to all of them.
Felt good to make so many people feel that wee bit more cared for than usual.
Spent today commiserating with all my students over that ratbag Prime Minister in this country.
That he choose to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the uprising with foreign dignitaries to the exclusion of Hungarians was a shameful act.
A cunt of the highest order and no mistake.
Hopefully Hungarians will remember at the next election and that piece of shit thief and his communist/totalitarian/ratbag crew will be gone for awhile.
Though most of me students have a jaundiced view about the longevity of the Hungarian memory.
(I remain desperately hopeful)
Time in Serbia was well spent getting my residence and visa papers sorted out.
Every government office we stepped in to we were greeted by smiling,helpful bureaucrats only to happy to steer us through the paperwork.
I kid you not!
They all seemed like they had had a spliff afore we walked in the door.
A truly lovely bunch of people.
I was gobsmacked by the help and willingness to be of service we were shown.
So the next we'll be returning to Serbia will be after Sofia is born.
Just a matter of weeks now.
On Saturday we'll be getting another 4d scan done of the girl.
It'll be a Jake weekend so he'll be there with us when its getting done.
Should be a great weekend.
Still trying to flog me laptop.
Someone came up to look at it tonight,hopefully they'll be back to buy it.
Quite chuffed with me new ability to port info,data and files around between me 1gig pen drive,new notebook and my mobile/mp3 player memory card.
Right now I'm downloading a huge file of every "idiots guide" ever made.
Lest there be a calamity I can fix an engine and put together a shithot excel spreadsheet in a jiffy.
Kind of handy to have all this information.
Moved about 1200 pdf books around between me desktop and notebook too.
Everything from King to Kant,Yeats to Shelly and back again.
That's all for now....have to go oil Jelena's magnificent belly.
