Yesterday, I was poking around Threads of Feeling's online slideshow. I was surprised by a number of things: the beauty and intricacy of the some of the prints, the amount of silks and silk ribbon present and the fanciness of the latter, heavily embroidered items, and how formal and lovely some of the mother's and father's handwriting was. I finally went to get my library card last night after practice (which I totally got my ass kicked, falling on my wrist and boob--is that even possible?), with less than a half-hour before it closed. I've been experiencing some major mental boredom.
