The far-less-glorious-than-last-time end to my NaNoWriMo experience

As of this evening, I am officially sort of declaring my NaNoWriMo over. What the hell does that mean, you ask?

Well....

What it means is that I've hit 50k (twice!) and have a map, mental or literal for the rest of each novel, but neither one is a finished, now-let's-submit-to-betas draft like Double Blind was last year or even Nowhere Ranch was ( Read more... )

The odds of me hitting The End are slim seeings as how I just started the final part yesterday and it probably has 20K+ to go. We'll see. I'm not going to stress about it, just keep on chugging away until the 30th. I don't know if I'll have the drive to finish it at a reasonable pace come December if I don't do it this way.
