Another goddamn fucking bat

I don't think I was keeping a livejournal when we first had a bat in our house, but to recap: Anna was a baby, we had four cats, and we woke to the latter hunting the bat in between our bedrooms.  They stunned it, Dan trapped it, and the next day, after fighting off DNR and public health, took it to be tested.  Then they had our doctor call to tell ( Read more... )

There was a bat once in the hallway of my first apartment building. I came upstairs and saw this thing moving, and then the damn thing dive bombed me. I screamed and hit the floor. Then when it zoomed back to where it came from, and while I was having a heart attack, I ran down to tell the maintainance man and yeah...that was scary.

Lang Hall here on campus is notorious for bats...I went to the main office on Comm Studies once in undergrad, and there was a bat clinging to the side of a office partition. The student sitting there didn't even notice it until it moved slightly. *faints*
