London

London has been really relaxing. We're both tired at this point in the trip so yesterday was spent resting, taking advantage of our free wifi, and doing laundry. We had fish and chips for dinner and it was tasty. We slept in and didn't eat until lunch time. I had shepherd's pie and it was basically a glob of potatoe/meat/vegetables with more potatoes and vegetables on the side. It was very filling! We found a mall that was 2 miles away and walked there around 4pm and spent 2 hours there. It was a fancy-pants mall. They had a ritzy section full of versace, prada, burberry and other stores like those.. It reminded me of Lenox Mall back home. The only thing I bought was a piece of chocolate cake from Starbucks because I was craving chocolate big time. We left the mall and found a little Chinese restaurant on the corner. It was full of Asian people eating there so we figured that'd be a good sign that the food was good. We were right! We both had chow mein dishes that were soooo goooood. After that we had to walk the 2 miles back with full bellies but it turned out to be a nice walk.

I noticed they put a lot of unnecessary instructional signs around here. Example: some places where you cross the street actually have paint on the street telling you which direction to look in when you cross. I have a picture I'll post below.

Tomorrow is our day to venture to the city and explore and we leave here the following day.

This is our humble room (at our 17EUR a night hostel)

20 pence to use the little toilet, a good deal compared to the rest of Europe!
