I don't have a lot of news to write about, except from last week elections it has been pretty uneventful around here.  I'm happy about the result of the election though, our current gouverment and prime minister will get another 4 years :)  It hasn't happened in 16 years that a sitting prime minister & co. has been reelected.  Politically the party ( Read more... )

Went for a short walk yesterday :)  Lilja loves sitting in her straps as long as the wind doesn't blow in her face to much :)
And we just sold our old car today, woo-hoo!

drbas  called me yesterday to ask if I got the package he sent.  I got the note in the mail, and Stig was actually out picking up the package.  Still on the phone with Bas, we opened the package, and inside was this beautifull, hand made babyquilt with traditional dutch motives on.  Bas told me he and his mother made it for Lilja, I'm just so touched by ( Read more... )

While I am still able to walk for a few minutes every day, we have been doing the rest of the shopping for the "big" items for the baby.
The cib we ordered came in only a couple of days later, instead of next month, big surprise :)  It's now installed, and it looks just great.  Very solid, and we also got a matress for it made out of anti allergic ( Read more... )

Ordered a crib today.  Actually we went to the store to buy it, but they didn't have it in stock, so we have to wait 4 weeks until it gets here.  Hopefully the crib will arrive before Lilja does ;)

Stig, Iril, Bente and I went to Finnsnes today to just look at the shops, and maybe, maybe find a baby pram.  We have been looking around stores in Tromsø, but they didn't have a red pram to a decent price, so imagine our surprise when we found it today, on SALE!  3990,- nkr instead of 5990,- is well worth it :)  And we got a red one, yay!  Noone ( Read more... )

Today we have been super-effective!  Stig came and picked me up after work, and we went shopping for grocerys and christmas presents.
We actually more or less finished 11 gifts today, and we still had time to drop in at the horrible place called "Reflex", the only well assorted baby-stuff store in town, to buy the car seat we wanted:
