Not a bit surprised
So, middle daughter's hubby has been out of prison for ........ 3 months now? something like. He came over to her place yesterday afternoon and apparently some partying ensued. the usual arguments followed that and he decided to deliver the smack down. She was able to get away from him after delivering a few good jabs herself. She is not one to take a beating without getting in at least a few good licks. Now she's bumped and bruised, although not too bad, and has a mild concussion. A trip to the local hospital revealed no serious injury and charges filed against the hubby. She says she's going to go stay in the battered women's shelter while she decides what to do next. This relationship is, thankfully, over. Had the kids for a few hours, they were quite upset as they'd witnessed the whole thing. Junior says "I'm not Daddy's boy anymore." Tianna doesn't say much about anything, she just keeps everything to herself. Poor little girl. She was very upset though, has been for a few days. She was really sad she couldn't visit over night with her auntie but auntie had to work the next day.
Oh, and trying to find a pharmacy that's open at 8:30 pm. Hours on all the Walgreens within 15 miles say 9-10 and all but the one 24 hour one were closed. Of course. Had to drive to 5 to find the right one. Each store referred to the next one. They apparently don't even know their own hours let alone anything about one open at night. Hospital pharmacies do not fill prescriptions unless you're admitted. What's up with that?
