AFTER YEARS OF SEPERATION.
Years had passed; No one knows that this day will come. Everything that they did just to forget one another will come to an end. They tried to avoid or ignore the feelings, but faith is cruel.
Heechul was walking in the café but someone pushed the door and accidentally bumped her head on the door. “Fuck!” She grimaced because of the pain. “I’m very sorry.” The guy apologized. “It’s okay.” Heechul said, still holding his forehead that makes cover her whole face. “Let me see.” The guy tried to remove her hands to see it clearly. When they saw each other.
“oh.” That’s all they can say to each other. They looked away to one another, both are nervous. Their hearts are pounding like crazy. Their minds went blanked. Heechul bit her down lip and looked away.
“uhh.. hi.. how are you?” Geng greeted. But behind those words are ‘you still looking beautiful’
Heechul smiled and answered, “I’m fine.” But she really meant was ‘never been better, I’m dying each day trying to forget you and move on’
They both sat and continued talking. Both of them can’t stay still. They don’t have anything to talk about. “I bet somebody already won your heart.” Geng joked. But he really wanted to say was, ‘I’m so stupid. I caused you so much pain.’
Heechul smirked and said. “yeah.” But the truth in her heart was ‘no one can take my heart, it is always belongs to you.’ Geng loosened up his tie. Heechul comb her hair with her fingers. “Glad to hear that.” Geng said in monotonous tone. But in his mind, ‘that guy is fucking lucky! I shouldn’t let go you.’ Heechul didn’t say but she laughed out of nowhere. But behind those laughter was ‘don’t you get it?! I’m freaking forcing myself just to forget you.’
When they had enough, both of them went outside the café and said their goodbyes. “so, see you around then.” Geng smiled. But he really meant was, ‘I hope someday when we see each other, it will be a date.’
“Sure. Take care.” Heechul waved at him. But in her mind was, ‘goodbye my love, see you soon. May be in our next life we’ll be together, forever.’
When they both started to walked to different directions, tears started falling from their eyes. And they both whispered through the wind “I love you. I miss you. I miss us.”
Until then, they never saw each other again. That was the happiest and last day for both of them. The two of them is already committed to a fixed marriage, they use this to move on and forget each other. Geng was in China while Heechul was on Europe.
But still, their hearts belong to one another. They never forgot each other, even years had passed, even when they died. Their love was so real and strong that no one can replace it.
