Summary: Do you remember Ms. Gwiboon from
Love Sight? This is a little story from her.
Dear Diary...
Today I got my dilemma. You see, my school asked me to write a Christmas wish. Not that I don't have any wish for my Christmas, but they just gave me a piece of paper to write down. So I need to list down the most important things, don't I?
Last night, I asked my parents what they wish for Christmas. Gah!!! they ain't help!... :(
I asked Umma what was his Christmas wish when he's little. He said, "When I was at your age, my mama, your nana, was so poor. So my wish was my mama to have enough money so we could be warm all through the winter time." Hmmmm Diary, I got my warm now. And there're always food on the kitchen table. So I am full and content.
So I asked Appa what his wish back then. He said, "Your grandparents were always busy when I was little. So my wish was so simple, to be able to spent my birthday and Christmas together as a family." This is also something that I already have. Appa and Umma always took day off when it's Christmas break. So we can celebrate my birthday, Appa's birthday, Christmas even New Year together.
When I asked them what they wish for this year, Appa answered, "I got you, Umma and Yoogeun. I want ask no more." And Umma just nodding his approval. GAH!!!! I am so confused. What should I write then?

"Gwiboon.... you're not sleeping yet?" Kibum softly knocking his daughter's door.
"Umma..." Gwiboon yelps and hurriedly hide her diary.
"What are you doing?" Kibum gently strokes her soft hair.
"Nothing. I just couldn't sleep." Gwiboon leans on her mom and buries her face on her mom's embrace.
"Still thinking about the Christmas wish project?" Kibum smiles while Gwiboon just nods.
“What did your friends wish on theirs?”
“Mostly toys, especially the boys. They’re obsessed with bayblades,” Gwiboon pouts.
“And Ms. Gwiboon doesn’t want any toys?” Kibum softly laugh. ‘Oh baby… you and your hate through boys. Just wait until the day that you see them differently.’ Kibum added silently.
“Hmmmm … I don’t know. You see Umma, I think I need to wish something important. Not just toys.” Gwiboon looks at her Umma with a very serious looked.
“Why?”
“Because baby Jesus was born so we can have hopes. Then He will die so we can be free. So Umma, to that very special person, you have to wish something special, don’t you think?
Kibum’s heart swells with pride. “You’ll figure it out baby, Umma believe in you.” With that Kibum once again kisses his daughter and tucks her.

Dear Diary,
Now I know what I should wish. And this is it….
I want others to enjoy Christmas.
I want my dad to have a great birthday.
I want my mom to be happy.
I want my brother to have a great Christmas present.
I wish I could sew and make clothes.
I wish I had a puppy.

AN:
This is inspired by my Baby C’s Christmas list. As a proud mami, I can't stop my tears when saw this hanged on her school wall. I can only thank GOD for having her as my daughter, who think more for others than for herself, who even think to put others first before herself. Yes, I am blessed.
Thank you for reading this. I know this is nonsense... but I can't help it....hahaha...
