Hoookay, so for about 1 1/2, going on two months now, I've been working on some basic maintenance on my truck. One thing I've been working on was doing an engine coolant flush and refill.
This has taken me two months. I've been a lazy little duckling.
Well, today I was rushing to get the job done. It's snowing here today, and so water freezes in snow (as you know). Unfortunately, when I backflushed the engine with water, I wasn't able to drain it all out due to one of the coolant drain plugs being so rusted in there. Hence, no water being able to come out. Yesterday was the day it was supposed to get done. However, I was missing a few things so it had to wait till today.
Today, I got the job done. The thing gets filled up with antifreeze and starts up. A few minutes later, there's coolant dribbling all about from underneath the engine.
As I found out right then and there, I blew a freeze plug.
FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUC~!!!!!
