bye bye maiden name
I am now officially Mrs Mavnn for most of the System - surprisingly painless, I was expecting much worse for a name change.
The most surprising of all was Inland Revenue, who did it over the phone without security ID checks or wanting to see at least a copy of the marriage certificate... Disturbing and somewhat worrying.
I now have only a few official places to send letters and copies of said certificate to, and it will all be done and dusted.
A part from the Italian government, who do not allow me to change name, ever, for any reason. If on one side it means not loosing completely my past, it also has a vague feeling of schizophrenia to it...
Need shower, need food, need a life away from the screen and the phone for a while!
