Yep...It's m'birthday!

Woke up late! WOOHOO! Started at the Secretary of State's office, because, well, I procrastinate...duh! So, I got there at 8:30, and after five minutes got really bored watching people in their cars waiting, so I called Jim and bugged him for a while. Then, because I wasn't smart enought to check out the times, had Jim check out the Sec of State website for their hours of operation - then had to direct him how to find it! Who's the tech??? HMMMM???? Yeah, well, after he did that, I started making fun of the people waiting in line! YES...it doesn't open until 9 o-fucking-clock, and they started getting in line at 8:35...it was cold and the wind was blowing pretty well, and there were 10 people standing in line! It was hilarious! There were at least 3 at a time bouncing from foot to foot, trying to keep warm...and, I'm the only smart one (for a change) sitting in my nice warm car! good times! So, James got bored, promised to take me to lunch next week, and by then it was 8:56...so I went to join the morons standing outside in line...Didn't have to wait long, got my tab...went home to "rest" from my ever so stressful day, thus far. Went to pick up Mom for a fun day of shopping!!! Ean gave me my birthday money...so we went to Red Robins...and I conveniently didn't tell Mom about how they make a fuss over birthdays, because, well, that wouldn't have been cool at all if the waiters and waitresses came over to my table to sing me Happy Birthday! Not for this chick! So, then we went to Borders, got all the hard cover Harry Potter books - cause I wanted them and want to re-read them without having to give them back to my Mom, thank you very much. Then found four Star Trek books - can't buy books without getting some Star Trek - duh! Then went to buy clothes! Yeah, baby! Two pair of jeans and a great sweater - and, just because I'm am a great and wonderfully generous mother, I bought Colleen a sweater...

Well, gotta go fill out the day by going to the movies with Mary - SAW 2, baby!

Oh, yeah, and Mary made me this cool birthday card...making fun of me as usual, but funny nonetheless.
