In less bizarre (unfortunately) news, we didn't get our grant and I will be out of a job in three weeks.

Today at work, my PI and I were discussing the logistics of a project, which was causing some concern. "It's not rocket science!" he exclaimed.

And a perfect beat later, realized and stated, "I suppose it is brain surgery, though..."

Last night was for grumping, obviously. It was also for finishing my Mars sweater (pictures forthcoming), which I am wearing right now (over a GSFC t-shirt-- i am such a geek!) and my FFA (Flying Ford Anglia) throw.
