Somewhat underwhelming this time, but I still had fun. Here's the character list:

1. Hugo Reyes
2. Sameen Shaw
3. Abbie Mills
4. Queen Jadis
5. Kareen Koudelka
6. Thomas Nightingale
7. Harold Finch
8. Jack Aubrey
9. Jack Shephard
10. Hagrid
11. Ekaterin Vorkosigan
12. Zoe Morgan
13. Bree the Horse
14. Harriet Vane
15. The Hogwarts Giant Squid

And the questions and answers are under the cut. I didn't do all of them, but most. By the way, you all are obsessed with cooking dinner, so I combined the three different requests.

a) Harold Finch and Hagrid cook a meal for Hugo Reyes, Kareen Koudelka and the Hogwarts Giant Squid. What do they eat, who washes the dishes and does anyone come down with food poisoning?
b) Sameen Shaw and Queen Jadis have to cook dinner for Jack Aubrey and Ekaterin Vorkosigan. What do they cook, and how is it received?
c) Sameen Shaw and Zoe Morgan are cooking dinner. What do they agree on? What are the conflicts?

Skipping the backstory in which the Machine sends Harold to Hogwarts, and both Hurley and Kareen are brought there by the giant squid (who is, by the way, definitely the magical interdimensional traveler of my HP fic), and they all rescue a number together, it is dinner time and Hagrid volunteers to cook (because the house elves are all on holiday, I don’t know), and Harold steps in as assistant because having seen the menagerie at Hagrid’s cottage he’s afraid of what he’ll come up with on his own. Of course Hagrid would never cook any of his animal friends, and actually his tastes are pretty run-of-the-mill, but cooking does involve a lot of butterbeer and despite Harold’s “but wait”s and “excuse me, don’t you think”s the vegetarian shepherd’s pie comes out upside-down and very dry, and the spaghetti kind of crisp, and in the end Harold ends up finding some Hot Pockets, heats them up over the fire, and serves them out. Hurley is grateful, although he gives Harold a lot of suspicious looks; Kareen is amused; but the squid doesn’t like having junk food thrown into its lake. So the next day it manifests Shaw and Jadis (along with Jack and Ekaterin). Jadis produces some Turkish Delight from thin air, and Jack is about to eat it with great gusto when Shaw steals it and eats it herself, then serves out sandwiches with way too many hot peppers. Ekaterin nibbles the edges and is very polite. The squid sighs up a lot of bubbles and produces Zoe, who gets on the phone to the best Indian takeaway in Hogsmeade (if she doesn’t have cell service, Harold fixes that). She and Shaw order just about everything on the menu, and everyone is pleased, including the squid, who is a big fan of prawn curry, and makes the merpeople wash the dishes.

Hugo Reyes, Abbie Mills, Kareen Koudelka, Ekaterin Vorkosigan, Zoe Morgan and the Hogwarts Giant Squid are chosen as the founders of an isolated colony on an uninhabited planet. After they land, all contact is lost with the planet. A hundred years later, the planet is rediscovered. What do the explorers find?

They find the best planet ever. I am assuming there are other people involved in the initial settlement, by the way, or else Hurley will end up being everyone’s father, not that he wouldn’t be good at that. In any case, he takes care of everyone, Abby protects them from crime (and supernatural forces, if there are any), Kareen and Zoe organize the society so well that no one suspects they’re being manipulated, Ekaterin makes the planet beautiful and ecologically functional, and the squid lurks in a body of water helping things along magically and mysteriously. The Founders die eventually, of course (except for the squid), but their legacy lives on. Especially in…

Kareen Koudelka and Zoe Morgan have founded a religion. Discuss, including the reactions of Harold Finch and Harriet Vane.

The Cult of Kou-Zoe, which is not really their idea but catches on in the next generation, and is the worship of efficient business organization and informational resources. Harold is a high priest of Kou-Zoe (in a way that doesn’t involve appearing to the public very often) and Harriet skewers it subtly in fantasy novels, which is what she’s writing in this universe after she meets the squid.

Abbie Mills, Thomas Nightingale, Jack Shephard and Zoe Morgan are duelling. Who challenged whom, who are the seconds, what do they fight with and how does it end?

Jack challenged Nightingale, naturally, and it doesn’t really matter what weapon he chooses (probably his fists), because Nightingale flattens him expediently and magically. Jack wouldn’t bother with seconds, but Nightingale makes sure Hugo and Hagrid are nearby to carry Jack away and revive him. Abbie catches the tail end of the battle and is naturally suspicious of a new sorcerer showing up in Sleepy Hollow (don’t ask me how they got there) but when she draws on Nightingale he manages to talk her down (the accent helps). Zoe’s weapons are different, but I don’t think she’s using them against any of these characters; I’d like to think her visit to Sleepy Hollow has something to do with the misdeeds of Sheriff Reyes, who turns out to be Hugo’s second cousin, by the way.

Sameen Shaw and Queen Jadis bodyswap. Can Jack Aubrey get them back to their original bodies?

I think he is watching openmouthed with joy and wouldn’t bother. And meanwhile, Shaw is enjoying being tall and Jadis is enjoying the muscles.

Ekaterin Vorkosigan steals something from Harriet Vane. What is it and does Harriet get it back?

She steals Peter! Just temporarily, so he can recover the missing jewelry of the Dowager Countess Vorwimsey, his great-great-etc-granddaughter.

Queen Jadis and Jack Aubrey are stuck in a single-bed hotel room for the night. Describe the sleeping arrangements and the negotiations that led to same.

What negotiations? Jack is perfectly happy out on the balcony.

Hugo Reyes and Thomas Nightingale are each in need of reading material and are offered access to Bree’s library. What do they think of the selection, and what does each of them wind up borrowing?

Bree’s library is limited to: novels written by an Archenlandian centaur in a James Bond kind of vein, which he’s a little ashamed of liking since the centaur-author is disdainful of ordinary talking horses, but can’t stop himself buying; another series about the adventures of a thinly-disguised Queen Susan (actually written by Susan under a pseudonym); cookbooks heavy on the oats and clover; comic books with a message that boils down to Lions Are Cool And Not At All Scary Really. Hugo reads the comic books, and Nightingale reads one of the Susan books and then goes off looking for her, first in Narnia and then back in England, and oh shit I really want the latter story now.

Jack Shephard and Hagrid have been concealing information from Ekaterin Vorkosigan. What are they hiding, and why? What happens when Zoe Morgan discovers their secret?

Well, I can definitely see Hagrid harboring butterbugs in a place he shouldn’t, though I’m not sure how Jack is involved, aside from his ability to make bad decisions and defend them to the death. And God help you if Zoe discovers your secrets.

Sameen Shaw, Harold Finch, and Harriet Vane visit a candy store. What are they there for and how does it actually go?

Shaw and Finch have to be there in pursuit of a number, probably the owner of the store who is being blackmailed for fencing drug-laced M&Ms or something, and then in a surprising twist ends up threatening to kill the blackmailer. Harriet has wandered in to buy sweets for her children, steps through a time portal in the licorice aisle, and helps solve the mystery. She goes home with some whizzo futuristic goodies, and Shaw and Finch treat the rest of the team to chocolate.

If Abbie Mills and Bree the Horse were pretending to be married, would the Hogwarts Giant Squid see through them or not?

The squid sees all. Particularly that one, though.
