Although man, everyone sucked in this episode. Everyone SUCKED!
I quite enjoyed it. ^_^
Hee! I love your reviews.
I know Lee-Roslin clashes will be painful, but I'm looking forward to them. And I think Lee is on to Zarek, though Zarek might actually be motivated for the good: he values Roslin's leadership, but he sees the need for a corrective, balancing force...and Lee's got the Adama name and clout to be able to pull it off in a way that he himself can't.
Then again this is Zarek, so I'm sure there's more to his agenda! Heh. Can't wait.
these are characters we love, and they want to think they're still on our side too, but the fact is the rules are different now and their need to remain concealed (in order to survive) means that everyone around them is in danger. Choosing sides isn't as simple as it sounds.
Whoa. Excellently put. It's painful to face, for them and us, but yeah. It's never simple. And all the good intentions in the world can never be a safeguard against a bad outcome.
The icon is by crazyvictoria and I believe it is the best thing ever. :)
He's always been pretty reasonable and often helpful, and if he really believes the things he says about justice and the common man (and he must, at least on some level, he spent all that time in jail, right? even if he is a cylon) then I really kind of like him although the using Baltar&New Caprica idea, wtf dude.Yeah, he's always had valid criticisms of the ruling regime, but that's part of Zarek's dark side, though: he wants power. He wants to be a mover and shaker, at any cost. He used New Caprica as a wedge issue to win the election even though Baltar told him that it was crazy and illogical to settle there. I think he did see the light after the Cylon occupation, and I even think he's pro-Roslin; but how much? We'll see
