Props to Democrats

I realize that I still have many topics I'd promised to address (the founding fathers and religion, conservatives and religion, welfare reform, my recent Mideast debates) but I've been extremely busy of late (not that that's something new). Anyway, I wanted to give credit where credit is due: several prominent Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi and Charlie Rangel have criticized Hugo Chavez for his outrageous statements yesterday. Granted, this plays well politically with the average American, but it won't play so well with the liberal base and so I'd have to say that it was courageous in addition to being the right thing to do.
